INVITATION FOR TENDER

1. The Kagera Cooperative Union (1990) Limited, has a plan to construct a Fence and the construction of a Canal to be built, Location: Jamhuri Road, Block: Medium Density, Plot No. KCU, L.O.NO. 130015 – Bukoba Municipal – Kagera and it intends to implement the plan by hiring a qualified contractor according to its internal policy and secured budget for this project.

2. The Kagera Cooperative Union (1990) Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible contractors registered in Class six (6) and above for construction of Fence and the construction of a Canal to be built, Location: Jamhuri Road, Block: Medium Density, Plot No. KCU, L.O.NO. 130015 – Bukoba Municipal – Kagera.

3. Bidders may request a clarification of bidding document all along from the date of advisement to Three (3) days before the Bid submission deadline by sending email to kcubukoba@gmail.com or call to + 255 28 2220229 (Head Office).

4. A complete set of Bid Document(s) in English and additional sets are freely accessible through Kagera Cooperative Union Head office, in the Office of the Procurement Officer.

5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English to be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address indicated below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Thousands Tanzanian Shillings (Tshs. 100,000/=). Payment should be paid on Account number 01J1055955002, Kagera Cooperative Union (1990) LTD in CRDB Bank. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.

7. All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address KCU (1990) LTD, P.O.Box 5, Bukoba -Tanzania, Jamhuri road before 10:00AM, 07th January 2025. Tenders
will be opened promptly in public and in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

8. A visit of the site is planned to be conducted on 23rd December 2024 from 10:00AM. The starting point will be at KCU (1990) Ltd Head Office.

9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
