TENDER

1.KCU (1990) LIMITED has set aside funds for procurement of simple plant for cherry coffee hulling during the financial year 2024/2025 It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments, now we invite sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers to supply 8 simple plants for cherry coffee handling with the following specifications.

•Pre- cleaner PA-BJ/2400 (Shaking screen)
•Combined coffee huller 1200kg/hr., (25hp motor)
•Cherry feeding pit (250 bags capacity)

2.Tendering will be conducted through the national competitive tendering method specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2023, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.

3.Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the secretary of the tender board KCU 1990 LTD Head office, P O BOX 5 Bukoba from 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM of working hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

4.All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked “TENDER TO SUPPLY SIMPLE PLANT FOR CHERRY COFFEE HULLING must be delivered by hand to KCU (1990) LTD procurement office, ground floor, at or before 10:00 hour’s local time on 3rd February, 2025. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at KCU (1990) LTD head office Board room.

5.Any questions relating to the Bid process may seek clarifications from the General Manager KCU (1990) LTD at KCU Head quarter during working days (Monday to Friday) from 8.00 AM TO 16.00 PM.

6.A complete set of tendering documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidder on the submission of a written application upon payment of TZS 50,000 (Fifty thousand only) to Account No. 01J1055955002, account name: Kagera Cooperative Union, General Account, CRDB Bank which will not be refunded.

7.All tenders must be accompanied by a tender securing declaration in the format provided provided in the tendering document unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet.

8.Late submission of the application letter or portion of documents, electronic documents and documents not received, documents not opened at the opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
